Author's Perspective:                                                                                                                                                                                                 Writing from the ages of 16 to 24, the author has collected poems and created collage art which march through the growth and stages of womanhood as she made her own home in a mountain of words. When she is not writing, she is a resilient and radiant pediatric trauma nurse whose passion lies in disaster relief and equitable global healthcare. Her mission is to bridge the gap between the isolation regarding mental health by creating branches that bridge awareness of how all mental health journeys are valuable and shape our souls. She aspires to make Sunflower Seeds Poetry a place where the heaviness of being human becomes lighter. May her words plant seeds in other young women's hearts who are learning to nourish their own roots in each stage of their femininity in womanhood.
